When we download this wonderful mod ?

When enough of it is done that it's playable in some shape or form! Yay! :D

It runs at the moment, but only because I have a pile of placeholder provinces and such that look ugly and will break the game if I try to take them out. Still touching up graphics and such, at the moment.

Even though this is semi-serious it still looks like it will be a lot of fun, sometimes the 'let's make things more realistic' mods get old. I'm looking forward to kangaroo heavy infantry retinues with iron boxing gloves.

Oh, right.

Tasmania consists of three duchies, two on the mainland, and one consisting of the two northern isles. It is a de jure kingdom (Lutriwita) in the Empire of Australia (name pending).

The mainland and surrounding isle provinces belong to the Palawa culture, in the Aborigine culture group. Their religion is 'The Dreaming', a catch term for the animistic beliefs of the native aborigine people as a whole.

Looks gorgeous. I wish your mod a long life ;). Who would say that it would one day be possible to create an Empire of Terra Australis in CK2? And I really hope for aggressive and oppressive European hordes knocking at the doors of this map. Maybe with some Aztecs from the East :p.

I'm wondering, what exactly is the difference between this timeline and ours? Do you have a specific point of divergence in mind or are you just going from the central conceit of "feudal Australasia" and not worrying too much about how it got that way?

So many provinces! Hahaha. This seems like a potential lot of fun. Do you intend to include european explorer and colonisers? Maybe Eastern Indies companies as merchant republics?

I want them to be a main part of the mod. Since the start date is 1500, that's your point of divergence since everything is random more or less after that. Around 100 years, in you're going to get visits from the dutch followed by other world powers. I'm re-balancing tech to give much bigger bonuses, with Europeans starting maxed out. Neighbor technology spread is also being tweaked. The idea is going to be that without any bordering European powers or presence you probably won't make it past tech 3 from 0 unless you have a European colony next to you, or you allow them to establish trade ports. These trade ports give you better relations with them, but can also cause resentment from close-minded vassals and religious instability, as the foreign religion spreads and gains traction.

Of course, if you want to be a Calvinist Aborigine emperor of Australia... Well, conversion can be both a very effective way at getting support and technology, but isn't that boring? ;)
