I agree with you that raiding Arbor is broken. Just tested it – and have to agree that this raid is OP. But seriously – this province yielded benefits three to four times the sizes of gold I gained by raiding bloody Highgarten. And much more than I gained from razing Casterly Rock!

I am quite sure that Arbor should not be more wealthy that those two.

I really, really rarely raid Arbor. Mostly, I enjoy raiding near coastline – and if I feel particularly lucky, I'll go for one of the great cities of Westeros. They all give less gold, they all are much more difficult to raid than Arbor and they certainly result in more losses. (bah! - Sunspear even kills much of your army without battles, by the pure value of attrition)

Anyway, to sum tl;dr : yeah, but that's argument against the Arbor, not against the raiding in general. I just don't think we should modify working systems to match Arbor – if we do nerf it to your advices (to 10%), e.g. pillaging Highgarten (castle) would net you amazing amount of 16g. At the cost of – probably – most of your army, if Reach intervenes. Do you honestly think it'd be worth this achievement?

No, decreasing i to 10% is stupid, you're right. Wasn't my brightest idea. All I think is there needs to be a balancing factor for this. Perhaps a raiding season? I do not know, I am not a modder nor am I creative. :p

I will agree that the main reason that raiding is SO good is because of the Arbor, not only because it is so rich but because the AI never seems to land an amphibious stack to defend it (probably because they dont have the boats). It's basically a risk-free ~1500 gold every 2 years.

On a somewhat related note, one time I raided the sept at the Arbor, took the septa as a salt wife, and that gave me control of the sept :)

Has anyone been able to win as Robb Stark in the Clash of Kings scenario? If so, can you enlighten me with some strategy?

Unfortunately, since CK2 has no Total War-esque strategy in terms of individual battles it's hard to make use of such a small force in comparison to the armies of the Rock and Reach.

I usually try hold my army at the Neck, let incoming enemy forces build up attrition, and get the terrain bonus when they attack me. While this goes on, I usually send a detachment to take King's Landing, and hopefully get lucky by capturing Joffrey.

Any plans to allow players to assume the part of the Young Prince Aegon VI or Jon Connington, in the role of his regent, commanding the Golden Company when it comes ashore in the lightly-garrisoned Stormlands?

You can do that already in the AFFC bookmark. Please use spoiler tags when referring to the Mummer's Dragon, it's supposed to be a surprise for readers/viewers.

I do really hope that Aegon VI is a true Targaryen and not the "mummer's fake dragon" as most people postulate. I dislike Dany completely as a Targaryen (and as a character as of ADWD). Even though his few actual appareances, he's already one of my favourite chars alongside Stannis the Mannis and Roose Bolton. I wouldn't really care if he turns out to be a Blackfyre though, a Dragon is still a Dragon in another colour.

I believe the assertion that Daeron the Good was a bastard of Aegon the Unworthy's wife and his uncle, so I therefore believe that the Blackfyres are more legit rulers of Westeros than the "Targaryen" line is. If Aegon VI turned out to be a Blackfyre, I'd support him more. That said, what I'd prefer even more would be for Westeros to break up into nine kingdoms (Reach, Dorne, Stormlands, Westerlands, Iron Islands, Vale, Trident, North and Crownlands) because hopefully the games for the Iron Throne would end. I'd respect Daenerys more than Aegon if and only if she gave up or destroyed the Iron Throne upon reaching it. Another Valyrian period with dragons sounds like living hell to me, and it'd be better if Daenerys was Azor Ahai, killed the Others and then did something that didn't involve sitting on a pile of melted swords for the rest of her life.

Oh. I just hope that area's later developed.
From the first Dev Diary:
But we do intend to fill the entire map, including Ibb, Qarth, Sothoryos and other obscure places
So I think that we could hope. Though I am not sure how much flavour they'll be able to write for such a places. Hell!, I think they already made muuuuch material during the creation of Summer Isles - as we basically know that 'these are Islands in the south; people who live there have black skin, and we have one name to create their name list!'
