Not that rare; just use a raid or invasion CB and occupy the court where the holder is. If you try the AFFC bookmark as the Iron Islands and have your character lead an army that takes Highgarden, you pretty much always end up with Randall Tarly's sword, for example.

I did not know this, Damn, need to try it out, In my post I was talking about the raiding system that operates through events, though the sword you get is unnamed.

Would it be possible to separate the intrigue and diplomacy education ?
It's actually really annoying to see a child with high intrigue have a weak diplomacy trait and vice-versa

I thoroughly support this. This could be achieved by adding an event that allows you to select between either one when the child hits 15.
I don't think that's very logical. it's not like you can choose either a spy or diplomat school for your children.

I'm facing a problem, but it's more aesthetic than anything else. So I started a game on the War of Conquest scenario as a made up character(meaning ruler designer) under the Freys. Eventually, i took the Twins from them. Then, something happens and my dynasty changes from my invented one to the Tully's. I didn't even know this was possible. Anyway, i checked for possible reasons for this and I found out the rest of the Tully's had effectively died out. I might have given them a daughter to marry at some point.

The thing is, after this happens, the Tully family tree becomes a mess. My character, and all his sons and daughters and their respective descendents start showing up as individual...specs on the tree, with no branches connecting them to anyone. Is this a known bug with a fix?

That's very strange, do you happen to have a save from just before it happened?

I knew it!

I've got a bug to report. In an MP game the other night, with me playing as Robert in Robert's Rebellion, I defeated the Mad King and decided to remove the entirety of his Kingsguard (not counting the ones killed by Ned Stark and Howland Reed). I ended up with a "Lord Commander of the Kingsguard" in control of White Sword tower without any of the traits or gfx of a Kingsguard member. I also did not receive any events for new Kingsguard and the decision to found the Kingsguard was not available. When the current "Lord Commander" died, it passed to a new civilian Lord Commander, without me receiving any events. So far I've had limited success in using the console to kill fake Lord Commanders and triggering the Kingsguard recruitment event, but all that seems to happen is the new knight's gfx changes and they stay in their home province. Any ideas for a solution?

With this, I've nearly all the swords availaible in the game (except Longclaw because I can't declare war on the Night's watch.)

Kill Jon and make someone outside the watch inherit it? I managed to get a bastard of Jon landed, so you could do the same and attack them.

Jon Snow Snow. Retarded trait needed.

Due to a bug a bastard's legitimized bastard can inherit their dynasty's titles. He ended up being the only living Stark (excluding Jon) in my game, so I gave him land so he could eventually retake the North from the people who ended up with it (I believe it was the Umbers).

I encountered that one as well. Nasty bugses... Though it was actually funny the first time around. :p

Does anyone know why the game starts to run really slow after a while of playing a certain save file? It's gotten to the point where on any speed level a day will take about 15 to 20 seconds, and I've only played for 4ish years.

Super nit-picky: Should Joffrey, Tommen, and Myrcella get the 'Waters' nickname after their bastardy is revealed?

Tbh they should also not be legitimised bastards, as they are now. They should also be of a cadet branch of Baratheon with the Lannister/Baratheon sigil combined, which they can be moved out of and into just Lannister if they lose.

the royal "bastards" cannot be their own dynasty because it will mess up the family tree its why they are always lannister

It's quite possible to fix that bug. When I made cadet branches for the Winter King the main dev, Luca, managed to make them display correctly.
