Not sure if this has been reported yet, but with the Aegon I scenario fathers, sons and grandsons all have the one valyarian sword. So families will end up with two or three of them instead of the one.
Also if one character has two named swords only one gets passed on, but that might be on account of specific circumstances rather than a rule as its only happened once.

This is still not working for me on Mac. Anyone figured out a way to get this version working? I've tried all the fixes that people used for previous versions of the mod, and that are in the first post in the thread.

Excellent and enjoying it quite a bit. Thanks for all the hard work.

One quick question - Trying to make a designed character who is High Valyrian and a Lord of the Reach. An event fires that says something like "blood tells..." and then the decision is "I am a Reachman." And my culture changes. I assume this is a check on something... Anyway to change it? I can't find the script for the life of me.

Also, if I wanted to add a trait that's not available in the ruler designer, do I just delete the line that says "customizer = no" ?

Anyway, thanks for the great mod. Just finishing up the latest book and I really hope you guys are enjoying your work.

The character needs to be Targaryen or Blackfyre to stay High Valyrian.

Two things I have noticed as I was scrolling through the various scenarios: Why aren't "nicknames" wrote between ""? Like Robb the young wolf, should be Robb "the young wolf". Or "The mad king", and so on. Those weren't part of their titles.

Vanilla, I'm afraid.

This is still not working for me on Mac. Anyone figured out a way to get this version working? I've tried all the fixes that people used for previous versions of the mod, and that are in the first post in the thread.

Quoted from mod forums:
TO SUMMARIZE:
For install on MAC OSX with Steam...

1. Create a folder called "mod" inside... "user/documents/paradox interactive/crusader kings ii/..."
2. Copy the files in the downloaded mod from this site in to the "mod" folder.
Note: Do not modify the .mod file as indicated in other solutions. This is also the only place you need to place the mod.
3. Delete the "loading screens" folder within the gfx of the mod or else your game will crash during loading.
4. Create a folder called "A Game of Thrones" inside... "user/documents/paradox interactive/crusader kings ii/..."

Using only these 4 steps I was able to successfully install the mod.

Seems like there's a vanilla issue with 1.07 patch and user_dir, which forces you to do step 4 manually (in previous versions, it'd be created automatically).

I was just wondering, how can you spread religion in this mod, since last patch the option of converting through pacifying provinces was removed so I am unsure how to do it now because I want to conquer the Riverlands and make it worship the Old Gods and maybe even convert to R'hllor.

By the way, if a dev is reading this, could you fix 2 things;
1. Make the Blackfyres work the same as Targaryens in things like the dragon events. This way it's much more satysfying to put a Blackfyre on the Iron Throne.
2. Probably a well known problem by you guys, could you fix the council, since patch 1.07 the Maester has become entirely useless because it can't tutor kids or tend to the wounded.

You need to have kids to tutor them and you need to be at war for the maester to tend to the wounded.

I'm playing as Balon Greyjoy in the Clash of Kings. I'm independent, my succession law is A-C Elective. Yet when I die, it automatically switches to Primogeniture, and makes Theon inherit. Is this intentional? Since I've tyrannized the hell out of every vassal, sending them all to the wall just so I became to sole elector and could put Asha on the throne, it's kinda horrible.
This is known and will be fixed

EDIT: Nvm , it seems the uninstaller didn't delete the gfx cache.

Also, I so f****ing want to continue a game I started in the test build, but when I load it, the traits are messed up - my king somehow gets the archmaester trait and the Heartsbane and the chaste. Chaste he is not, he has 9 children!

Any hopes of continuing my epic Targaryen game with 0.3.2?
If you remove the disinherited trait savegames from the test version should work

I got this event while playing as Aegon I on 0.3.2

"Everyone at court believes that my sister and I had an incestuous affair!"

Well geee... I am married to her with 2 kids
Lol, that event needs adjusting for incest yes

Asking again - are the new combat leader traits from the Legacy of Rome DLC optimized? Like, the guys who get the "Holy Warrior" trait, have those been deliberately tagged or are they random? (Some rather weird leaders have it.)

Thanks & keep up the good work!
leader traits are assigned at random

Excellent and enjoying it quite a bit. Thanks for all the hard work.

if you create a high valyrian with the ruler designer there should be a decision to enact right at the start if the game so your culture doesnt change

Not sure if this has been reported yet, but with the Aegon I scenario fathers, sons and grandsons all have the one valyarian sword. So families will end up with two or three of them instead of the one.
Do you mean when a sword is passed on it duplicates? or that there are duplicates at the start?

Also, King Aerys is the second of his name. Therefore it should be named King Aerys II.

I've never come across e.g. William "the Conqueror" or Philip "the Fair" to be honest. I don't think quote marks are used that way in English.

Nicknames are sometimes put in quotation marks in English, but only when the nickname normally functions as a replacement for the entire name rather than an epithet, and is being mentioned alongside the full name for some reason. For example, Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish is correct, while Aegon "the Conqueror" is not.

You also generally wouldn't do this with really long nicknames like The Mountain That Rides.

Man, the Tully's are douches with a capitol bag now.

I've played three games with the new version, two Clash of Kings one Conqueror. In the CoKs, both times the Tully's screwed me with factions to install Sansa as Queen in the North. Never mind that she was a minor, a girl, and a prisoner in a foreign court, nor that Edmure Tully is the Young Wolf's uncle and our relations were +75 the last time he backstabbed me. He waited till the worst possible moment too, I'd finally started making headway against the joint Lannister-Tyrell doomstacks (kudos on that BTW, made the war much more interesting) AND Sweetrobin Arryn finally died, leaving bold young Harry the Heir free to bring all the untouched strength of the vale into the war. I'd sent Balon Greyjoy home with his tail between his legs (err, tentacle between his other tentacle, being a Kraken and all) and I was marching my host south, to meet up with the battered remnants of my Riverland force, both set to join the mighty army the Vale was marching in to save the day.

This was the moment Edmure Tully saw fit to screw me by demanding Sansa be made Queen. I refused (as I was pretty sure that would instant-lose me the main war) so he not only took the whole Riverlands army with him but also got the magical bonus troops that faction revolts tend to get. So now I was dealing with about 40k Riverlanders marching up the Neck. Ragequitting ensued. I mean really, wtf bro? That's no way to treat your badass nephew.

In my conquest game, I installed Orys Baratheon as Lord of Harrenhall and LP of the Trident (not being able to get him the Stormlands, as the Storm Princess married), and the Tully's just kept managing to depose him. Even when I wound up imprisoning virtually the whole family and executing or sending them to the wall, there was always one survivor who was always able to round up a conspiracy able to oust my half-brother (then later uncle).

I think a hard look has to be taken at how the new features in the main game are interacting with the mod. On the upside, I can now finally start/join a conspiracy to install Dany as Queen. Looking forward to trying that one.

Just installed the new version, and conquered westeros in about half an hour as Aegon, those dragons are OP! :p

So I was wondering, what can kill your dragon? I know they can die in sieges (or so it say in that decision you can activate), but are there other ways?

Anyways, thanks for this Update, the mod is truly awesome, keep up the good work! :)

I'm fairly certain they can die in any battlefield, perhaps even when not deployed... reason being I get events where my dragon roasted an enemy general, when that enemy general failed in killing the dragon pretty frequently (maybe once every 10 battles). I think the opposing army's general has the ability to duel a dragon (just like trying to kill a wild dragon), with better chances for being a good warrior and having a valyrian steel sword.

On another note... Valyrian religion polygamy rocks! (but it sucks that you have to give up tournaments...)

Aegon basically conquered Westeros in half an hour in Canon, so the dragons are supposed to be OP.
Now, try to conquer Westeros with Aegon in the 7 kings scenario, that's much harder even with the dragons, since the other kings can field ginormous armies, Aegon can't.
