I was going to post this in the bug thread, but seeing as how it doesn't seem to be getting much attention, I'm posting it here (hope this doesn't infuriate anyone ;] ).

Okay, so has anyone else noticed how game-breaking the relations penalty between The Seven and The Old Gods/Drowned God/Red God rulers is? Not only does it amount to a substantial hit in relations, but because of vanilla mechanics, you end up with scenarios like Robert Baratheon imprisoning Ned Stark and Stannis quite a bit. That's silly. The relations hit probably shouldn't exist at all, let alone the option to imprison followers of a different religion.

I think an exception for zealous rulers might be alright. Perhaps a small relations hit and an increased chance for AI rulers to imprison vassals of a different religion (while still incurring a small relations penalty with other vassals).

Rhollorist burn people of different faiths, and nobody likes Iron Islanders, so I think these should stay. Agree that Fo7 and OG seemed to coexist largely peacefully, though.

Yeah, you have one faith that is obsessed with burning things to death and the other faith is obsessed with drowning things to death. And the Drowned God is what Cthulhu would be like if his worshipers were all vikings

What are some of the favourites to play as? I've done the obvious ones. I've won the war of the usurper from both sides and won the clash of kings. But I like to start small. Has anyone taken Littlefinger far? I started with him, but found it really tough since no one of significance would marry him. And you can't take the same route he took in the book, because you won't be asked to be on the King's Council.

Came across a quite gamebreaking bug. Basically I was playing as flint (the branch of the family that was part of north clans, flint's keep I believe) My ruler married a princess of iron throne and then all of a sudden the current king dies with no heir and my wife was the next in line. Shortly after I started getting this event.

2012-09-11_00001.jpg

Every time I click the event my character changes between lord eddard of flin't finger and his son. When this happens I lose all gold any of the character has, it just disappears, also this event pops up every single month. I was originally playing as the character you see in the image, the first couple of times the event happened I swapped between him and his heir (at least the right "country" <_<)

I got several other images but didnt seem to be able to get them into post for some reason.

Edit* Thought I could fix it by loading save as queen and giving land to my heir then save and reload as heir but as soon as I start playing that event starts popping up again =/. Fortunately I basically conquered the whole world already (technically not yet but would have once queen dies)

I downloaded the mod and seem to have installed it correctly, but for some reason I don't see any possible characters. Every location is set as "no character".
Also, is it possible to turn off the water and trees, like you can in the base game? My computer's awfully slow, and the animated water makes the game seriously lag.

Do you have the White Sword Tower? If so, give it to somebody. As far as I remember this event happens to anyone who has the White Sword Tower but isn't a member of the kingsguard.

This is fixed for the next version.

If you want a quick fix delete event 999700005 from events/kingsguard.txt

I don't know if it's still a problem in the Clash of Kings build cause I was using the previous one when it happened, but I had an issue where I basically wiped out the Kingsguard (whilst fighting the Iron Throne), and they managed to become independent. However, because nobody was joining it, what kept happening was that a randomly generated courtier would become lord commander, and then get kicked out over and over again, leading to a crazy amount of guys just bumming around Flea Bottom and a stupid number of Lord Commanders .

Like I said I don't know if the issue still exists, but perhaps it would help that, if the Kingsguard was wiped out with no applicable candidates, the new lord commander was generated with the Kingsguard trait to stop the loop? As it is I had to use the console to play as the Kingsguard, then trigger the event which causes your character to get Kingsguarded in order to fix the problem.

Does anybody know why the Tagaryen side on the War of the Usurper always organises itself so quickly while the Starks, Arryn's, Tully's and the Baratheon's can't even have their armies aid Certainly with the Reach having 30K troops it's very difficult to beat all the Reachmen, certainly combined with the other pro-Targaryens (20K men I guess)..

Just.. Why?

That is acceptable, but still I've seen that a 20K Stark doomstack didn't even attack an Reach army with 25 thousand men fighting against 120000 Tully's.. C'mon Ned Stark AI use your brains!
