As Wyman Manderly, my liege Eddard Stark had been in and out of prison repeatedly (after Aerys won his war). For whatever reason, Aerys decided to imprison him again. I started a plot to set him free, and guess who wanted to join my plot, with ~200 points of plot power?

Yes, Aerys himself;) He spoilt this gesture of good faith, by inviting me for a plot to kill Eddard Stark only days later. I decided to act on neither, and Eddard died a few months later, leaving a cruel, tyrant, underage daughter as LP of the North. It didn't took me a lot of bribing to convince other Northern lords in backing me up for acquiring the North. And now, Lord Wyman I, Lord Paramount, will start to look south of his borders...

Not really, they have a smaller fleet than the Redwynes, the King on the Iron Throne and several others, not to mention than they use longboats which are not as heavily manned as the galleys & other types that everyone else uses nor are those ships built for naval combat.

you mean in the game or in the fantasy world of the books? cuz iirc in the books they had the biggest fleet and only the redwynes one was stronger. stannis' fleet was not so impressive, he needed sallador saahn and even then kings landings fleet needed trickery and new ships to overtake that fleet. not to mention that the iron fleet is the most experienced of seamen.

anyway thats not a discussion for here :p

what i mean, due to the new system any rebellion against the iron throne is very likely to fail (ofcourse it did in the books) but from a gaming perspective a 100% doomed mission is not as fun :p. and you no longer get warscore for just staying alive :S

Stannis' Fleet was not to be sniffed at, he managed to sail into kings landing effectivly unappossed.

The Iron Islands has the biggest fleet of all the kingdoms, though it is not technologiccally advanced in any way. No warmachines at board or anything like that from what I have read.

well actually AFAIK the majority of his fleet was Salladhor Saan's and Davos will have only known Salladhor for 3-4 years, Salladhor's fleet likely much smaller, and certainly Davos wasn't as pally with Stannis at this time (till after the siege of Storms End). Therefore this arrangement would not be relevant to the earlier scenarios.

Ok, so I was playing a game as the Lord of Wyl (in Yronwood, in Dorne if you don't know) and I had managed to take control of 3 of the 4 provinces owned by the High lordship of Yronwood. I then declared war on the High Lord of Yronwood for independance, which I won, before usurping his title and then beating him in a war to take is last province. After that, everything was going fine. The Prince of Dorne managed to gain independance from the Iron Throne, creating the Kingdom of Dorne, ruling over Dorne and the Stormlands.

The Prince's daughter took over the rule of the Kingdom when he died and after a few years of her rule, basically all of Dorne rebelled against her. The Stormlands fought on her side but I could see that see had no chance of winning so I decided I should get on the good side of the victors and joined in the rebellion. Before long we won the war and a new Prince took the throne of Dorne. Almost immediately, despite helping him in the war, he sent me a message revoking one of my titles. I decided to give it up, since I could probably win it back later. Then a while later, he sent me another message asking me to revoke a second province, which again I accepted. Finally he sent me a third message, leaving me with one province before I realised he had kept all three provinces for himself so there was little chance of me taking them back.

Basically I want to know was there any reasoning behind this or is he just a greedy bastard and decided to pick on me?

I've noticed that after about 100 years into the game that you get very little options for your Kingsguard. I constantly have only 4-5 knights and the only new additions tend to be old men so they die within 20 years. Perhaps the game could incentivize sons after the first son to become knights?

Just a little idea, but for the little wikipedia link icons on all the character pages, maybe you could have them link to the equivalent character in the asoiaf wiki?

That's actually a great idea.

Maybe with a modifier encouraging it if they aren't in the succession line, are bastard children, and maybe a few other traits?
