Hi, just want to say this is a brilliant mod and I'm enjoying it greatly. I'm currently reigning in the Eyrie as Samwell Tarly's son. :)

However: I made a game where I started as Robert (In the Crowned Stag scenario) and tried to destroy the Kingdom of the Iron Throne so I could maybe see a slew of Rival Kingdoms and high lordships. However when I had the necessary prestige, it said I could not destroy the Kingdom of the Iron Throne as it is my primary title. And I can't make my primary title the High Lordship of Kings Landing for example, either. Is there any way I can destroy the Kingdom of the Iron Throne? Thanks!

Your primary title will always be the highest ranked title. That's why you can't change it, because Kingdom of the Iron Throne is an Emperor-level title. The way you'd have to do it would be to declare independence from the Iron Throne & declare yourself Storm King (or Prince of Dorne, or King of the Rock, or the Reach, etc. etc.), which is another Emperor-level title, and win. You'd then have to gain a claim on the Iron Throne and fight another war to gain it (or somehow marry into it). Then you'd be able to destroy it, as it would be your secondary Emperor level title.

Having the most amazing game with this right now, ended up winning Robert's Rebellion as Eddard Stark. A few years after the end an event popped up that allowed me to choose anyone to be assassinated. In interest of seeing something happen, I ended up choosing Robert. After he was dealt with and Renly was named King, there were several revolts. One of them wishing to implement Viserys to the Iron Throne. While that war was going on I went to war as well to gain independence and named myself King of The North. Viserys ended up getting named King in the middle of my revolt then several more wars started up. Jon Arryn joined me and after the war ended the entire Vale is my vassal.

I love everything.

Is this mod good for one who has never played CK2 before?
My laptops CPU has become pretty weak and besides this mod looks like a lot of fun it is probably also faster than vanilla (less nations)

Untrue. Magic monsters and magic appears before Dany's Dragons. For example, direwolfs in North, Others invaders, blood magic (Mirri Maz Duur) all before dragons. I think, "something" make magic so strong, that the Dany could have her Dragons. But what? Idk.
Dragons only makes alchemist more powerfull.
Precisely why I said "...magic is incredibly strengthened..." not "...magic first appears..." I think it's clear from the books that magic is stronger with the birth of the dragons; not only for alchemists, but for Thoros of Myr who can now suddenly breathe life back into people (and other Red Priests), and the Thirteen of Qarth.

Direwolves aren't necessarily magic, Others and wights are, and blood magic is completely inconclusive as to whether it's actually magic.

Except there's a flaw in your argument here: most of what's created in the mod is based on evidence supplied by the author, quite often evidence supplied by direct emails or discussions with GRRM (such as, who's homosexual). The author's intentions are considered final word here, simply because in the construction of this mod, flubbing those details would dramatically shift large parts of the mod; and then you wouldn't have "A Game of Thrones Mod", you'd have "A Mod Inspired by A Game of Thrones". And it wouldn't be the same.

I wasn't actually advocating any particular change in the mod (though I believe that all religions should eventually have their own events/etc)- this was mostly just a debate over whether there is evidence of Gods in ASOIAF. I believe that there is. Real life =/= written world. In the real world events happen that have no real significance. In a book those type of insigificant scenes simply don't (or at least shouldn't) occur. Varys' warning to Tyrion existed only as a way to tell the reader that the Red Faith is different than other faiths. Even skeptical characters (Stannis, for instance) and characters devoted to other Gods (Victorian) are swayed by the power of the Red Priests in a way that we don't see from the faithful of other religions.

Anyways, I have no problem with the mod taking ques from the author, such on who is homosexual. I'm not arguing that you can't take the author's word as truth- just that you don't have to. At this point any future argument is simply going to go over grounds already covered, so we're just going to have to agree to disagree.

If you have enough piety you can demand he change his religion usually the last choice in the specific characters action selection screen.

I think there should be an event for LP who becomes king of Seven Kingdoms to give away their LP title to some dynasty member (Robert gave Renly Stormlands after becoming king). This would help against kings who accumulate too much LP titles and become unbeateble in megawars.

Well if exist dynasty members without land they usually usurps LP title. Problem is when there are no, and many years king or another LP rule it.
But in principle I do not understand how it works.
for example: Renly or Stannis usurp Stormland, Tytos Frey - Westerland, but Reech sometimes takes a strange person(not Tyrell or great lord)

I think, the better idea will be ewent for king(or LP), who gives the LP title to the Lord, which he prefers(but only from this LP).
For example: Tommen give North to Bolton:laugh:

of course if it's possible

hey guys,

first of all, mod looks great, im looking forward to the finished version.

nvrmind found the problem. but i ran into something else while playing. after the war for the iron throne ended (robert won) i wanted to save brynden tully who was imprisoned by rheagar, now demoted to count(?). i used the ambition and the following options but instead of rescueing him from rheagar i ended up with a war against hoster tully to rescue brynden, but brynden wasnt even his prisoner, besides being the son of hoster.

dont really know how that happened.
