I'm just curious as Australia/NZ can be turned into colonial nations would it be appropriate to have a few more? The immediate ones that come to mind would be South Africa, the Philippines, and just from looking at the map New Guinea. Playing as a native nation in the Americas is kinda boring because if you colonize outside of the area you can't really have colonial nations (which makes sense as far as colonizing the Americas). However, if you colonize Australia you can still end up with your very own colonial nation. I just think it adds some fun to the game by giving the non-European/North African states a chance to form their own CNs.

I should mention that the major issue with making any of these three areas into CNs is that they don't have nearly the amount of provinces that the New World does. It just seems that if you are going to represent Australia/NZ as a colonial nation its only far to include at least the Philippines if not South Africa. A compromise for South Africa could simply be expanding its colonial zone to include Madagascar. I just don't particularly want any new CNs to step on the toes of pre-existing ROTW nations. I also don't think its entirely out there to represent these colonies in this manner.

Anyways my main thing is still just to create some flavour to colonize for non-European countries in areas they historically never went. I mean seeing Oman colonize the Philippines and having the Barakatas or some such thing. This comes out of me doing a playthrough as the Incans and turning NZ into Inti Aotear.
