Is it possible to have a detailled procedure on how to add a flag.bmp and a shield.bmp using photoshop and the new MKJ template? I'm not a photoshop professional and I'm a bit lost!
Thx in advance

It's not hard at all, so don't panic :) I myself am a beginner to Photoshop, and I've created some nice flags, if I do say so myself ;) They're listed on http://www.hoidirectory.tk

Anyway, a guide... Here goes...

First of all, you fire you Photoshop, and open up the flag_master.psd and the shield_master.psd. Then you open up the picture you wish to make a flag off, it can be anything, from a picture of your family, to a van Gogh painting. Once you've got these three opened up, make sure that you have the hoi_action.atn added to your actions box. This is done very simply by drag-and-dropping the file from the zip dir, to the actions box. If you're having trouble finding the actions box, it's the same box which contains the overview of previous actions, you just select either "Overview" or "Actions" in the top panel of the box. When you've added the HoI_actions.atn, you select the source picture, you wish to create a flag from, and then you select the Shield acttion, which was just added in the actions box, and press play. At some point it'll stop, and ask you to select the shield_master.psd. When you've done that, press play again. Now move the newly created flag layer in the then shield_master.psd below the Overlays layer, save it as a bitmap (BMP), and you're all done. Now you have yourself a shield. To create a flag, you do the same thing pretty much. You select the source, select the flag action, press play, when it stops, you select the flag master and press play, there's a small difference though. Once the flag action stops for the second time, make sure you select 0% horizontal, and 1% vertical scaling, then select the displace.psd in the next box. After this, make sure you move the new layer, below the overlays layer. Maybe add a new layer at the bottom, below the flag layer, and the overlays layer, and fill it with the primary color, of the flag. If it's not a flag with an overall color, touch it up as best you can.

Hope this is understandable, it works, and the flags turn out great.
