I tried to complete the mission "Ordnance Depot Capture". its probably the 4th mission I've done. First, I need to go occupy the depot, on my way there, a drop ship appears and drops off two light mechs. Which, I quickly dispatch. At this point, the mission states:
-Eliminate enemies (66% complete)
-Pacify area around base
Sure, so I initially, I waited inside the base for several turns, hoping some other wave of reinforcements would come... but they don't.
So after several turns of waiting, I set out to explore the ENTIRE map with all my mechs going in different directions to see where the remaining 1 enemy (33%) might be hiding.
After approximately 40 turns and the entire map discovered and still no sign of any enemy units, I basically exited to main menu and restarted the mission not once, but twice with the exact same result.
I was excited to try this game on this free to play weekend.. after playing the first 2 missions, I thought the story seems really good and I can't wait to know more! I was really debating buying it, but after encountering this issue so early in the game, I decided I won't be purchasing it.
If this isn't a bug, then the game is obviously not explaining properly what it is the player is supposed to do and something probably should be done to fix this.
