missing legion.

ok i finally dived in and purchased rome, have been playin it for a couple of hours now with no mods and am havin fun with it.

i loaded a legion of some 7000 men onto a ship but the legion seems to have disapeared! its listed as 1st legion on the military screen as bein in a sea province albeit the leader is greyed out, yet its not on the map. i sent the fleet i loaded it onto back to port but the legion is still listed as bein at sea!

I have experienced the same myself. I posted about it here, but didn't get any feedback on it. It's obviously a bug. It happened to me after a war vs. Rome when I was trying to transport my troops back from main land Italy by sea. Perhaps it was because I tried to send 2 different armies into the same fleet?

It has happened twice now, in one multiplayer and one singleplayer game. I have always played with the 1.2 patch, and have no mods installed.

yeah when i click on the legion on the military screen it show the legion (missing graphic) as bein in the sea, even though ive moved the ships to port

its certainly no gamebreaker though.

after havin a quick skim through the strat guide it really is an excellent piece of work

Anyway I think this happened to me. I have it on save every half year so I just reloaded. I must have noticed in time.

As I recall, several Legions went "missing" throughout Rome's history. We now know why.
