Missing Forum Threads

Is there any official response on the missing forum threads, where all threads in the forums which the last comments in them are over a year old have disappeared. This applies to both customer comments & official ones. Example go to the FAQ section in CK2 & you will see zero threads, whilst only 4 out of 12 are available in EU4 FAQ section. Older games are empty & like a shell.

This doesn't seem to have been effected by the new forums, as there was no issues for at least a month after these came online, but then they suddenly disappeared. No comment to why this has happened or when they might be put back, & it is really annoying. New customers playing games for the first time will have no way to view help & how to play, whilst older customers cannot look at the old threads. One of the moderators did give a work around, but that doesn't seem to work.

Come on Paradox, this is quite important, & am surprised there hasn't been more comments regarding this.

There has been a lot of comments on this, not sure how you missed them.

All you have to do in those forums is click on the Thread Display Options link lower-centre. No need to change anything, just commit and the threads will reappear (until next time!).

Unfortunately Andrew that doesn't work. If it did, I would be happy until the problem was sorted. Two other moderators have mentioned this in two other threads.

Just like your post says:

The thread title is also a bit misleading, as it applies to all threads, but I can't change it.

I haven't (and by extension, I assume others haven't) felt the need to put on an official voice to say anything, as a workaround is provided. That workaround not functioning has been brought up by yourself and a few other users. We could certainly try some more things to get the workaround functioning, but all I know for certain at this point is that the fault

Edit: By using the workaround, i get the full list of 12 in the EU4 faq subfora

Hi Pevergreen.

You & Castellian were the moderators in question, & mentioned exactly the same workaround, which doesn't work. I have no idea why, but it doesn't.
