Hello folks of CK II. As a long player and archeologist , i regret that there is missing kings. Some cannot be implemented in the game , however there is many who actually could. Here is my list for helping the Devs and making CK II feeling more complete. Who wants to be continuator of Crimean 's or Suebi Kings?

Countries :
France : There is many missing kings unfortunately due to the way middle francia and west francia are made.
First all the merovingian kings are count in France by order rather than kingdom. Which mean that Thierry (or Theoderic) II of West Francia is in fact Thierry III. Also some old frankish names are not transfer into latin french for unknown reasons :
Theoderic ->Thierry
Theodebald -> Thibault
Clovis->Louis (in fact we do ignore this rule for the kings of france)
Missing Kings : Clodomir (511-524) son of Clovis , died against Burgonds , still a king or an Orleans Duke.
Childeric I (457-481) father of Clovis
Aegidius (Roman) : 457-464
Syagryius (His son) : 464-486 (Kingdom of Soissons kinda like France in 769)

Duchy of Koln :
Sigebert the lame (480-509) (
ASSASSINATED BY HIS Son
Cloderic (509) (ASSASSINATED BY CLOVIS I)
Munderic (534) (ancester of Charlemagne ) (all of them are Merohingi)

Duchy of Picardy :
Ragnacaire
(470- 487 or 510) (killed by Clovis)
Duchy of Anjou :
Rignomer (487?)
Duchy of Holland :
Cararic (460-491) killed by Clovis

Duchy of Berry or Orleans :
Eochar (
Alani Culture) :420-450
Sangiban (his son) :450-461 (Alans of Orleans, Eochar can be rattached to southern Burgundy)

Aquitania :
Pepin
(son of Louis I of France) : 834-838
Pepin II (son of Pepin I) :838-848 (died in 864 killed by Charles II)(Karlings)

Galicia and Leon :
Hermeric (
408-441)
Rechila (441-448)
Rechiair (448-456)
Agiulf (456-457)
Framta (457)
Maldras (457-459)
Remismond (459-469)
Frumaire (459) and Rechimond (459-463)

Missing Kings
Cararic (550-558)
Theodemir(558-570)
Ariamir or Mir (570-582)
Eboric (582-583)
Andeca (583-585)
These all are the Suebi Kings which took place in the kingdom of Suebi in mordern day Galicia and Leon.

Kingdom of Serbia :
Elemund (548)
Thurisind (548-560)
Cunimund (560-567)

I am sorry the Gepids list is complex and i cannot say more. Their kingdom were on actual Belgrad

Empire of Hispania :
All wisigothic Kings after Athaulf (415 ) to Roderic (701-711)
https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_des_souverains_wisigoths this list can help you

Kingdom of Burgundy

(took from Wikipedia)

Kingdom of Taurica :
I took all the kings from the same dynasty starting by Cotys I. Ethnicity Greco -Alanian

Hermeneric (350-375) (goth)

France (Empire):
Postumus (260-268)
Lélien (268)
Victorin (268-270)
Tetricus I and II (270-274)

England
Carausius (286-292)
Allectus (292-295)

Italy :
Odoacer (476-492)
Totila (540-549)
Teutes (549-551) (Goths)

Mauretania
Ptolemee 23-40 (berber)

Hungary
Bayan (558-602)
Bayan II (602-617)

Clovis->Louis (in fact we do ignore this rule for the kings of france)
We ignore it because although Louis is derived from Clovis (itself derived from Hlodwig which became Ludwig), they were contemporarily latinised differently. Clovis was latinised as Clodovicus and Louis as Ludovicus or Hloduvicus.

France (Empire):
Postumus (260-268)
Lélien (268)
Victorin (268-270)
Tetricus I and II (270-274)

England
Carausius (286-292)
Allectus (292-295)
These men were rulers of rebel states of the Roman Empire (except Lelien. Who is he? Do you mean Marius?). Although their rebellion lasted longer than most other rebellions, they were eventually defeated and their rule was never legitimised. Additionally Tetricus II never held that much power, ruling as co-emperor and therefore should not be a ruler anyway.

I don't know enough about the other suggestions to comment

The new kings of Hungary are the true leader known of the Avars when they settle in Pannonia. Like the alani , we do not know many things about them , they re in the text. Sangiban participate at the Catalaunian Plains. The new dukes are the king of Franks before Clovis assassinate them both. I present the legend of Gregoire of Tours but some historians thinkt their assassination were far before. Gregoire says in the end of Clovis rule meanwhile some said it is on the beginning. All of them were Merohingi .
The Kingdom of Soissons was an official entity and it is sad to ben ot represented in Game.
Bosphorian Kings hold Crimea before Goths , Burgundian kings are taken from them settling in Burgundy by Aetius.

For the rebels, i actually count the fact that CK II count the legendary kings of Britain with Cynan Meriadoc. Some of the rebels are actually in the history by geoffroi of Mounmonth , like Constantin III.

The Gepidi was the third Gothic Tribe and actually settled in nowadays Belgrad. However their tribe is mostly unknown , destroyed and assimilate by Lombard s king alboin. In fact the death of the first king of Lombards is due by his wife , daughter of Cunimund.

sorry for stupid question, but why should they add characters which would only be displayed in history files.
I know they did it in some cases, but if those are of different dynasty, it means:
1) creating a new dynasty with dynasty ID
2) creating the character with his character ID
3) possibly adding his family relatives
4) adding the character in the title list (of every single province he holds)
what for?
seeing the character in ruler's history list?

Having the list you posted is only small portion of information necessary for the ruler, which means they would need to be researched, date of birth has to be added, etc.
Each character would mean at least 5-10 minutes of work. With dozens of characters... I guess you know what it means.

no, I'd rather prefer if the devs spend their time on something what actually adds something to the gameplay, not a ruler list to watch.
