Missing content in map editor?

I think I'm missing some content in the map editor ... under the Roads tab I only have 1 choice (a 3-lane highway), and under the rail tab I have absolutely
no choices at all. Also no way to build any ship paths whatsoever...

Help?

I had a similar issue - try disabling all mods, then edit your map, then when done turn them back on - worked for me.
