First off, let me say it’s good to see such an enjoyable strategy game in these boring POST-RTS-TIMES(TM).
With 1.05b I notice some of the combat modifiers (e.g. forest_attack, river_attack …) are not in the savegame until you reload it and save it again! I don’t know yet if there is any impact to that in the game, anyway it’s a strange behavior. Maybe some of you can try to reproduce that:
- start a new game
- save it
- search in the .eug file for one of the above modifiers
- SURRENDER
- from the main screen restart the game, with that savegame file
- save it again
- search the new file for one of the above modifiers
