Hi- OK, got just into the game. ?s-
1. Is there a cheat list like HOI? I think so because I've used F12 to stop FOW. Is the list the same as HOI? If not, would someone please give me a link?

2. Where does one go to register the game? I was never asked to do so.

3. In Jan. '36, as US, I disbanded my R and V boats. But in Feb.'36, I get hit with a large increase in required supplies. So big I'm going to have to eliminate some production. Is this correct? Or, is this due to my shifting toward "planned economy"?

4. Where is the Save folder in the AOD directory? I ask because there will be times when I want to send some dates to the Recycle bin.

By Directory I mean the folder that comes up after Start, Program files, AOD.

5. In the early part of the game, does the US get any increase of ICs by any other method than building factories?

Yep, the cheats seem to be the same as in HoI2. See here.

2. Where does one go to register the game? I was never asked to do so.

In the upper part of the screen, see a "My games/registrations" writing. Click on it.

4. Where is the Save folder in the AOD directory? I ask because there will be times when I want to send some dates to the Recycle bin.

It's in ...\AoD\scenarios\save games.

So far all the usual cheats & events (with the odd exception) from Arma seem to work fine

2. Where does one go to register the game? I was never asked to do so.

The serial code (30 random numbers/letter) should have been provided by GamersGate (if you DL it from there) and you go to 'My games/registrations' and enter the code to get a little grenade.

I don't play the US much if at all but I expect going effectively the wrong way (towards a planned centralised economy) as the US is going to cost you money and increased supplies/CG. Does someone else want to confirm this?

By Directory I mean the folder that comes up after Start, Program files, AOD.

Save games are in AoD/scenarios/save games. If you are using MS Vista you'll need to open the compatibility files to see them though.

The US has a big peace time penalty (which is not very historic but is there for gameplay reasons) which is slowly reduced by event as the World edges closer to war.

1. I noticed my Phillippine Force icon has a skull beside it. I understand this means subject to attrition, but how do you fix that? If there is a manual citation, I'd appreciate it.

2. Where do you go to look at events calenders? I'm trying to see what event will unlock the Phillippine Div. It's probably War, but I'd like to look at the various events.

1. Make sure military spending is at a suitable level, but in the Phillipenes it'll be to do with the Tropical Climate + low infrastructure, and you can't do much about that.

2. There is no 'event calender', you have to go look through the files in the 'event' folder in your install directory for dates and triggers. However, I know for a fact that no event unlocks the division in the Philippenes, so you either have to disband it, or allow it to be defeated in combat.

Most probably yes - you should check (when in wheather mapmode - that's the 3rd little icon under the minimap) what the province's climatic area is by hovering your mouse arrow over it (areas can be: temperate, subartic, tropical etc. - tropical should give you some attrition penalty).
