So i had a new event where established contact with an identical Empire of my own in another dimension. But they were using warp travel instead of lanes. And was at war with warp beasts. Is this a warning i will have unbidden in my game? Kinda boring because in 2390 now and have been holding off killing the dimensional horror just because dont want the unbidden.

The dimensional Horror doesnt have anything to do with the unbidden. Only jump- and psi-jumpdrives increase the Chance of unbidden, asa well as the very rare Wanderlust Event chain.

Edit: Just realised it gives Access to jump drive, so it indirectly does affect their spawn Chance. It doessnt give the tech outright, just 50% though, so you could kill it and then not Research the tech.

Yea i have killed it now. Survey ship on the way to research. But i know myself when i see those tech with partial research i just have to finish them. But guess will not have it done before 2350 when have end game crisis set tostart.

Anyway I always research jump drive (or even psi jump drive on mid game, when I could rush psionic), but only got unbidden about 17% of the time played. So don't worry.
