There is a store upgrade in the Argo.
It's the last line (or so it seems to be) of the Engineering line.
Its description states that the Argo is in capacity to produce its own Mech parts, possibly better than any industrial inworld facility.
I didn't find any use for this other than the +2 Mech Tech.
I find the idea of crafting my own weapons and components quite interesting.
Possibly by buying mats and components from mining planets.
