By the way what do you call a 'barbarian civilisation' ? 'Barbarian' is whatever is not from your country if you use the greek or roman definition of it. Not very accurate.

The fact that China burned down its ships after travelling all over the Indian Ocean still amaze me.

In fact 'barbarian' comes from the Greek expression 'bar bar' because thats what it sounded like to the Greeks when foreigners spoke. It had nothing to do with the state of the 'barbarians' civilisation, it simply meant that they did not speak Greek. The Greeks did in fact admire some of the so-called barbarians (Persians, Egyptians etc.).

Conclusion: primitive = barbarians is wrong. And those of you who don`t speak Greek, well you`re just a bunch of barbarians all of you :D
