minisubs -for what??

I got used to research the complete sub tec tree which includes the minisubs up to the advanced minisub class.

But I never saw any result. I cannot build physical units nor could I place them on BB`s or CV`s. (Nor could I see any effect on the BB or CV-combat values)

Is it a bug? (similar to the sub launched cruise (or balistic missles) in the rocked tec tree, what is obviously not working also)

PS: Play vanilla 1.06c

One of the mods (Max IIRC) over a year ago said/indicated that it does not work. There is nothing more to say about that at this point.
