Maybe not a bug but a question on how this is to work...

As germany after I change ministers the minister dissapears and is not available - now upon a CTD and reaload he is back to choose - it that WAD - or what??

yes that works - but its a little wierd that you have to exit the game to get them back.... and a little hard to plan in a mp game.

A dismissed minister is first available after reload. (i waited over a year for them to come back, but no luck. after reload, all the dismissed ministers were back for duty)

yeah I think its a bug - I have not had mine come back for 2 years and bam he is there after reload the next day.

So maybe it happens for all Fascists and Communists but not Democracies (which have a dissent penalty for changing ministers).

By the way - the U.S. gets no dissent penalty for changing ministers. Not sure if this is WAD or not.

I know I have seen a dissent hit as U.S.A.

EDIT: in 1.05b. And the ousted ministers return to the pool immediately.

I tested SP. For MP it was reported here a couple of months ago that dissent doesn't hit for DoW until after reload. This could be similar. Did the dissent show up after reload?

Actually I had that happen too - I declared war as germany on Yugo. and did not get a dissent hit - thought it was because they had similar government - but then arfter a CTD i got a 2 % dissent hit (I think I was the host after reload). Intresting enough I did not get any exp for my gernerals who fought for quite some time in Spain...

Ah, never mind - apparently military ministers don't count for the dissent hit, and those were the only guys I was changing.

You're right, I didn't notice that. Chief of Staff and the 3 service Chiefs don't give a dissent hit.
