BTW, could you check if any one the ministers you created is a "resigned generalissimo"? It will help us squash a bug which is preventing the next beta.

I think it may be....i'll have a peek through and try and fgure out which one is the file in question...if i can find the time to sift through them all lol...but i am sure i did put it in, sorry for that...its hard work!

I don't know if you needed a minister list for Euskadi, but i've made one. It only has the ruling cabinet because it's hard to find Basque Nationalist for that period:

What do you think?

i'm not sure if we're using that tag for anything else, but...i geuss if its ok with the mod-team i dont see any problem, but it depends on the big whigs with the big picture....if they feel its ok, then its ok to have in lol...depends on if we plan to use the tag or if we feel its not worth having them...but great work none the less...any other work you can help with would be greatly appreciated, especially in that part of the world!

We're not using it for anything at the moment. :)

That said, what's the use of having Euskadi in the game? I do not think Spain can liberate her, revolts on a scale massive enough to cause nations forming have only been known to occur in China, and there sure isn't any events for bringing Euskadi into the game. I'm not being negative here, I'm just asking whether it is worth it - did Euskadi at any time during the period between 1897 and 1924 come close to achieving independence? If yes, proceed. If no, we need to think this over.

Well, after the dissolution of A-H and the subsequent birth of new nations like Estonia, Latvia, Poland... etc there were some riots in the Basqueland called the "autonomist riots" the objective of these were to bring some autonomy for the Basquelands.
It could be a starting point for a scalation of those riots and an alternate option.

Another thing that comes to my mind are the Carlists, which after the Spanish defeat in Cuba they planned another revolt, but they decided that better not.

For those years there already were a lot of personalities defending a Basque autonomy and some of them even the independence.

Meanwhile i have improved the list:

I think that i'm going to include the Carlists, and/or the descendants of the crown of Navarra as ultracatholics (PA and FA)

Another thing, please note that this list is totally speculative, for example Paulina Arana Goiri is there as Head of military intelligence because she took part in the creation of an underground organization of Basque nationalist women and she's there as chief of navy because she was the heiress of a shipping company.

I haven't played this mod yet though I'm currently download, I was wondering if Theodore Roosevelt would be a potential minister, if so I was wondering if he dies in 1919 if elected in 1912 if he does after he is elected I would remove it due to the reason Roosevelt died is largely attributed to his south american expedition after he lost in 1912 where he contracted malaria and a serious infection he lost 50 pounds and was plagued with those flareups for the rest of his life. Also if he is not elected in 1912 I would like to see some sort of choice to allow him to raise volunteers (trigger 4 free divisions) of his rough riders to fight in world war one possibly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roosevelt's_World_War_I_volunteers with him as a leader with many possible traits

If someone has already posted this sorry but didnt wanna read through the whole sub-forum lol

Yes, wikipedia. But really, Väinö I was just a joke, not official. Wikipedia says this: "Hallitsijan arvonimeksi suunniteltiin seuraavaa: "Kaarle I, Suomen ja Karjalan kuningas, Ahvenanmaan herttua, Lapinmaan suuriruhtinas, Kalevan ja Pohjolan isäntä"."

Which means: Planned title of monarch was next: "Kaarle (Carl) I, King of Finland and Karelia, Duke of Åland, Grand Duke of Lapland, Lord of Kaleva and North."

In official papers monarch was called Fredrik Kaarle, but that wasn't name what was planned to his name as monarch.

Regarding dominions ministers

I've searched forum, but didn't find answer.

What head of state should have countries which called Dominion: Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Newfoundland?

I think there should be head of Britain Empire so I've got 2 questions:
1. Can we use persons directly from British files and
2. May be we should separate them, but we must control changing British kings via events.

The Dominions all should have their Governor-General as Head of State.

For 1897-1936, these would be:

Newfoundland:
1895-1898 Sir Herbert Harley Murray
1898-1901 Sir Henry Edward McCallum
1901-1904 Sir Cavendish Boyle
1904-1909 Sir William Macgregor
1909-1913 Sir Ralph Champneys Williams
1913-1917 Sir Walter Edward Davidson
1917-1922 Sir Charles Alexander Harris
1922-1928 Sir William L. Allardyce
1928-1932 Sir John Middleton
1933-1935 Sir David Murray Anderson

1930-1930 Sir Michael Myers
1930-1935 The Lord Bledisloe

1921-1926 The Lord Byng of Vimy
1926-1931 The Marquess of Willingdon
1931-1935 The Earl of Bessborough
1935-1940 The Lord Tweedsmuir

South Africa:
South Africa was only united in 1910, before that there were the seperate colonies of the Cape, Natal, Transvaal and Oranje. The High Commissioner for South Africa prior to Union was the Governor of Cape Colony.
Cape Colony:

1931-1937 The Earl of Clarendon

Australia:
Australia Federated in 1901. Prior to that there was no official leader amongst the colonial governors, but the NSW Governor was probably most senior.
NSW:
1895-1899 Viscount Hampden
1899-1901 Earl Beauchamp
Australia:
1901-1903 John Adrian Louis Hope, 7th Earl of Hopetoun

Hope this helps.

Heed help

I was working with Canadian ministers and met some difficulties concerning differences between Chief of Staff and Chief of Army.
Until 1904 Commanders-in-chief in Canada were British monarchs (officially) and Governor General (in practice).

So I really two-minded what better to do with chief of army.

Secondly how it should be with chief of air if Royal Canadian Air Force was formed only in 1924?

Current version of Canadian ministers:

I was going to ask about the Canadian ministers myself, but I see someone else has already taken the initiative.

Excellent selection of ministers for Canada, I might add. I couldn't have done it better.

Thank you. I've chosen Canada due that fact, that my two great-grandpa's brothers immigrated there in 1911.

BTW, there are another countries in dominions, so take your chances!:)
