I was thinking..... Wouldnt it be nice to have more ministers of different government types for California, CSA, and Texas? Or maybe even just have ministers to represent a left authoritan, democratic, and right authoritan? California and Texas have right authoritain but maybe we should give them some sort of democratic and left ministers?

Califonia:
Upton Sinclair(LWR) maybe HoG and or HoS?

Texas:

CSA:

I honestly don't know any other people but I will edit my post and add to the list if you have any ideas.

This is a terrific idea!

You want to talk with CSABaddass. He's already formed through several ministers for the CSA and Texas.

Another thing to do is to go through the different USA ministers and determine which ones would be valid for the three breakaways. For instance, Upton Sinclair here is already a USA potential minister.

Another thing to consider: at least with Texas, many of the various ministers could also work as alternative heads of state, as they were actual governors at times. I doubt all of those Texans and Californians are Paternal Autocrat, too... James Allred was a New Dealer like Roosevelt.

Thanks for the shout-out, Passivocalia!

In my "Southern Road to War" mod, I nudged the Texas ministers from Paternal Autocrat to Market Liberal so as to give the player a real choice in the 1939 election--old-time Southern politics (Social Conservative) vs. a more British approach (Market Liberal).

There are a few Southern-born Social Liberal ministers that can be imported from the USA file, but otherwise it's hard to find full slates of alternative ministers. It is something I plan to look into once I've ported "Southern Road to War" over to Doomsday, though.
