Hi there,

I repost here just some lines from the tech-support-Forum.
My wish/Suggestion should be clear after that :D

If you think too this would be a nice Addition, please add your Support!

Hi Devs,

I noticed that Ministers with a different indeology as the gov will be replaced after the reload of an savegame.

This can be very bad for historic Events: there where several gouverments which including (as example) communists AND democrats. These governments will randomly change 'cause the issue above.

I don't know if there is an affected gouverment-constellation in vanilla DH - but I think I saw this from time to time.

This is not a bug, but a game mechanic meant to work that way.
It is used to set proper ministers for the current government type.

Cabinet validation and update is triggered on game start, when a country is created (actually in this case best ministers from ministers pool are assigned to office), couped, made a puppet, when a minister retires, when country policy is changed (democratic/authoritarian and left/right sliders), on TAG change and when regime_fails event command is used (this command seems to be a leftover from earlier HoI versions).

To workaround specific problems, you could make duplicates of the ministers you'd like to be available in other government types.

Sure, that's work, but isn't it very Immersion-breaking?
I mean, as example, the 2050 democratic elected goverment of switzerland is formed from 2 conservativ democrats, 2 commies and 3 market liberals.

Goverment: Has to be market or social liberal.
conservative Ministers will load correct; the 3 market liberals too.
But the 2 communist politicians will be replaced after I load the savegame because "communist" isn't compatible with "market liberal".

Okay, I can duplicate the commie-ministers and set the ideology to "social liberal", but if I do that: How the player will see that his new goverment is 1/3 under communist Control?

I think it should be at least an misc.txt option to deactivate this ideology check.
especially for some eastern europe states during end of WW2 this ould be very important: Romania as example had still a king (was de jure paternal autocrat), however large parts of the goverment were under commie control. The state only become a real communist state after 1947.
