Naah, don't spend much time on computer games anyway. So my trusty 350mhz dinosaur on steroids will have to work a bit more before it's allowed to retire... :D

Hmm. It requires Pentium III 450 MHz and it seems to be that my computer is fast enough put barely because it is Pentium III 450 MHz. Not everyone has 1 or 2 GHz. I think it would be wise to make games for computers available last five years.

Frodon - memory is very inexpensive nowadays - I am assuming you have PC133 ram. For another 128 is about $18.00. Also look into upgrading your CPS to a PIII600 from your 350. I am sure your motherboard would be able to accomodate the changes - this would cost you an additional $40.00 or less. Just take it to a local shop if you don,t know. They will look at it for free and tell you what upgrades you can do. Also video cards are very inexpensive and that would give your system a big boost also. A 32-meg video card would set you back less than $20.00 also.

I have a 3ghz p4 800fps with hyper threading. Thats just my processor. I won't even go into detail about the rest of it :)

If you can't meet the minimum requirements then don't play. It would be outright moronic for companies to limit themselves for a very small percentage of people whom can't meet the requirements.

Victoria is not going to run away.
You can get it later on :)

IMO 5+ years old computer has come to its end.
To buy a new computer every 3 years seems to be a sort of standard.

Think how many processors are sold just because of Half-Life 2.

Maybe not, back when I had a 350 that was the highest my mobo could handle.

To fit more players in a LAN match I've played EUII on a 200Mhz. It ran ok but took ages to load.

I am planning to upgrade my comp to 2.2 GHz just for Victoria :D .

Don't have any problems at all to run either EU2 or HoI. But I have 350 mb's of RAM, and perhaps that is more important than processor speed...

Yes.. memory is far more important than processor speed.
It may be a bit slower on your pc than EU2 was, but the memory you have should be more than enough.
