Alright, there's been a new update pushed out on Steam with the following changes:
I gave Baldwin his holdings back in Flanders. Alas, there's no way to specify the succession laws of the duchy to be agnatic-cognatic while retaining an agnatic succession for the Latin Empire since the succession laws of duchies derive from the higher title. This means that Baldwin's daughter won't get Flanders as she did historically. If you're playing as the Latin Empire and want to be historical, then Henry should grant Flanders to his niece when Baldwin dies. The historic vassal relationship is kind of confusing during this period. Was Joanna a vassal of France or the Latin Empire at the time? It's rather similar to the predicament Normandy fell into after 1066...was it part of France or England?
- Alexios III given intricate webweaver and deceitful traits, loses slothful
- Fixed issue with c_monferrato where Baldwin wasn't title holder as of 1192
- Boniface is now a vassal of Latin Empire in 1204
- Boniface has a weak claim on Latin Empire
- Removed Baldwin's claim to duchy of Thessalonica
- Boniface of Montferrat has claim on Thessalonica
- Boniface is the recipient of Thessalonica if Latin Empire wins war
- Baldwin is title holder of Flanders until his death
- Granted Baldwin more gold to reflect seizure of Byzantine treasures
- Fixed bug in vanilla where Hainaut had wrong lieges in 1204
- Despotate of Epirus has kingdom-level title
- Fixed viceroyalty law for Latin Empire
- Alexios V given the trusting trait
- Customized traits of Baldwin I
- Customized traits of Henry I
- Theodoros I is a skilled tactician instead of thrifty clerk
- Emperor of Nicaea no longer holds duchy of Thrace title
