Cultural Buildings Mod

This mod adds a culture specific building to each culture represented in the vanilla version of Crusader Kings II. This mod SHOULD be compatible with most other mods unless they add buildings of their own. Certain cultures may have historically inaccurate (by date) buildings given to them, this is intended. If you find any bugs in the mod, please let me know!


What You Get

There were 30 cultures that did not have a culture specific building in the game with vanilla. This mod currently adds a culture specific building to each of those 30 cultures.

Information

-Current version is v1.10 that is compatible with CKII 1.05g as of 6/04/2012.
-German translation courtesy of zeress.
-Feel free to include this mod in your own mod if you so please. I only ask that you acknowledge my authorship of the mod.
-If you would like a customized version of the mod, please let me know and I will try to accommodate with my free time.
-This mod contains
2,110 lines of code that are not included in the vanilla game.
-There are only
20 different buildings added to the game for the 24 different cultures represented in the mod.
-My balance policy is to under balance first and then buff to equilibrium. There should be notable underwhelming numbers from most of the buildings.



Future

This mod is mostly completed. I have some ideas for how I could expand it if I get enough time, but as for now do not expect anything immediate. If you are fluent in Spanish and/or French and would like to help, the mod is still not translated for those two languages. Other than that, please feel free to make balance suggestions or even expansion suggestions! I am always up for anything.

Instructions

-Download the zip file from this post.
-Unzip the files and place in the mod folder of your CKII game folder.

may I ask what are the special buildings added and effects ?
 
Updated to version 1.00 (finished initial mod).

Change log:
-Changed default Saxon (English Longbows) building to be grouped with North Germanic Group building instead (Housecarl).
-Added Breton building.
-Added Pomeranian building.
-Added Finno Ugric Group building.

I apologize, I thought I updated all references to the mod being unfinished. All cultures in the game have a building to build! If you would still like to help, I could use some brainstorming for a second culture building for EVERY culture in the game. I would preferably like to have each culture's second building only have 1 (or maybe only 2) possible levels (as opposed to the current ones that have 4 levels). Feel free to clump cultures or even culture groups together based on the type of soldiers they deployed at or around the time.
 
I tried it out and had an excellent time! The new buildings really add to the game.

Like you said, most of the new buildings are under powered but under powered is much better than most cultures having nothing in the base game.
