Alright it was a manual battle that I commanded but it was funny to see the poor underdogs win for once xD I went left, and had the militia fight the less powerful stack from the enemy and they did very decently and took out four units.

Basically the Militia forced themselves through the defensive line of the enemy and then the motorcycle ended up way behind the two enemy amazon archers. It was there to kill the biomancer for healing her allies. After the biomancer got vaporized and the last of the allies got killed by the two remaining archers.

I looked at the enemy and tried to think of how to get one more kill and couldn'g think of a way and plus i was out of operation points from supporting the militia. Many a laser strikes was delivered.

I decided to go ah screw it and started racing away from the enemy.

Here's a problem though, rest of the enemy was all on foot while my last guy was in a speedy motorcycle.

He led them on a merry go around chase as they tried furiously to catch and kill him. They failed and ran out of time XD I think it took him like two laps around the energy plant until the battle timed out.

The consequences of Berhane's failure was that she is forced to stay out in open field and is set up for the kill by Ericridge's six unit stack.

If nobody takes damage for 6 turns the attackers will automatically retreat. You can often use this to save your scouts (or more importantly Colonizers if you send them out alone) when the enemy has melee or slow units (or you have exceptionally fast ones like the Prospector). I'm pretty sure it also force-retreats after a certain number of turns. Maybe 30? I've only seen it happen once.

Mahina tried to snatch that Edv city but changed her mind after seeing how well defended it was and reveresed course to try and take something to hurt me for a turn and decided to settle on attacking a level 5 energy sector of quemby instead. She ended up getting more than what she bargained for. Four heavy missile turrets more that is.

I judged the enemy army and decided that winning this defense was possible if I granted the militia there my direct support. And win they did XD I also have a spaceport integration which let me drop operations on first turn. So ridiculously valuable ability.

Dropping a heavy missile turret on turn 1 let me control the flow of the battle and slowed the AI down enough for me to chain in 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

No two drones from support drones because there's three AIs chain disjuncting my security drone operation.

I just have an impossible auto-resolve win too. A group of minerals animals with the big Rock atk my sector, but they failed to kill my flying militia unit. So it retreat and my sector safe. What more funny is, the only left Big Rock kept engaging my sector (fresh built without militia upgrade), kill all the land units and retreat since it can't touch the flying one
