normal/normal correct. Why wait? If ya wanted to keep the game fresh in your mind and do an aar straightaway. Why not do the aar - wright it out (pics and all in a post), then copy and paste it into notepad (or word would be better) and save for latter :) - thats what I do sometimes.

Sorry about the wait guys. Real life commitments tend to have its surprises. Anyway, I've started with the AAR and will post the entire session today. Too bad about Vlad

This maybe premature or perhaps not? Would it be too early to consider starting another one of these (to run along side the first)? I got a new list here :D

Leaders2ab.jpg

The main focus of this one was getting Marlborough, Suvorov, Gustav, La Valette and Skanderbeg included. (plus I liked Muhammad :) ) Everyone else just fit in nice enough. So does anyone want to take part in this one? Or is it best to wait until the first one is finished? -(I was hoping on getting some venetians and dutch in this one, but they collided with others)-

Also would anyone be interested in doing a naval one? I know its much more restricted (battle wise), but we could have some pirates :D :D :D such as Black Beard (6-6-6) :D :D :D

Hmmm, I might be interested in Marlborough, if he's not already taken, but let's finish the first round of leaders :)

Deal.
It's not likely that I'd give up, seeing that I have only two and a half weeks on this job, and that means more free time :)

Well remembering your earlier comment...

Well, things change :D

One of the teams that I'm covering (as a translator) suddenly woke up (and the project is officially over, this is just "extended support phase") and said "Oh, look, we have some documents that have to be translated... 200 of them for start, but the number could be 400 or even 600"

But yes, I'm basically free even now, no matter the situation overall I'm leaving at the end of the month and I don't plan on getting another job until autumn (classes for the certificate and exams at the university have the priority, and because of this job I won't be needing any extra money for the rest of the year).

So, I can do the first round (Zrinski) at work, and Marlborough would come after that, when I have more than a half a day off every day.

Interesting, I must admit I was alittle curious what you actually did after you made that earlier comment about "working". I imagined you were some graveyard shift security guard for some huge building, sitting in front of a computer (+ donuts :D ), with all these security monitors around = half asleep - doing next to nothing :D  (of course there is nothing wrong with that - if any reading has such a job :) )

But alas, I was wrong :D

Translating does sound interesting, what languages? (Croatian/English/ ++?) I myself am strongly considering going overseas for the purpose of learning languages (I think it may be better to learn in their homeland), as I am tired of my line of work.

Yup, you were wrong, but with that job description I'm not surprised that people get it wrong :D

I'm a translator on the SAP Implemenatation project here in Croatia, and most of the consultants are from IBM, so the entire project is bi-lingual (Croatian/English), documents, meetings, everything.

A nice job, excellent pay (well, for our standards), and, once the rush of the blueprint phase is gone, it's easy sailing (I think I've started 15 or 20 campaigns in the last 3 months or so, just at work, nothing at home :D , plus I've written quite a number of additional events just to enhance my games)

Well, sometimes it's not neccessary, for instance, I've never been to any country where English is the official language, and yet my Cambridge certificate says that my English is at the level of "a highly educated native speaker". Of course, it's easy to do that with English, some languages could definitely be easier to acquire abroad.

I'm also "expanding my options", so to speak (my second major was Information Sciences), so I've started attending the classes for MCSA.

Spanish would be handy :D , as one teamlead is Spanish (or Argentinian, I can't remember) and speaks horrible English... but still better than the English spoken by some Hungarians...

Sure, but I think (Im no expert - but :D ) one could pick up alot more on correct pronunciation, slang etc (and learn the language faster) - having been around the people. Im not a young man, so learning another language or two may be very hard - I need all the help I can get :D + I get a long holiday out of it.

In that case, any excuse would be fine, I wouldn't mind learning a new language in such way :D

Ahh, that sucks. I had finished act 4 of my AAR and when I pressed "submit reply" it said I wasn't logged in  . Apparently I got booted during the writing of the post. Have to start all over again :( . Major bummer. Expect it to be up in 2 hours. And then only the last piece remains. Finally :D .

Downloaded it. The situation is quite good.

I'll have to reinstall EU2, I need a new vanilla install.

I won't start before Thursday, I have to do the usual stuff when you're leaving job, but (more importantly) I have to file my taxes by Wednesday at the latest. I don't want to mess with the state...
