Hi everyone,

In my game last night my POPs seem to migrate alot more then I'm used to. After 80 years my capital still has 5 open slots because someone is moving away all the time. In fact, they seem to be moving away from all my filled up planets to the colonies.

Background: pops are sedentary, intelligent, adaptive and weak
Realm ethos: fan materialist, pacifist

Could it have anything to do with the fact that all my planets are a core sector world? I have 12 core sectors, (base 3, ethos 2, ascension 5, tech 2) some with multiple planets.

This thing may (too short a time to know for sure) also have increased after I turned cyborg, so habitability may be a thing in this?

I noticed this as well. Started a multiplayer with some friends last night, ran into the problem of everyone wanting to migrate. Trying to restrict their migration did not actually work. Every new planet that was colonized ended up almost max capacity within a few years as our core worlds emptied out. We could not figure out what was causing it, habitibility, food, and work all did not seem to be affecting it, and there was no way to restrict it.

I also noticed a lot more migration happening. In some ways it makes sense for your people to move from your core worlds to new colonies. It also means that their population increases faster, which is a good thing I suppose.
But in my current game it makes it impossible to upgrade my capital to the highest level. Which I need to build the psi corps building. So I'll have to turn off migration for a decade.

I had the same problem with my capital. I ticked the migration edict there but people still move to colonies. Having 12 new colonies as adaptible cyborgs does not help
