And this is it. Obviously you scale it up and early on you might use lasers or mining lasers over the plasma weapons. Late game you pack lvl 3 plasma, lvl 5 lasers.

What makes this design so good?
1. it belts around the map reasonably fast.

2. Its basically good vs everything. It can hit corvettes and BBs fine.

3. All the weapons are pure energy which means it benefits greatly from focusing crystals.

4. Generally you tech up in physics fairly fast relative to engineering. This means late game with a few black holes odds are you will be deep into the energy repeatable over the kinetics. Vs AFE, FEs and crisis you can add a few (25-33%) cruisers with null void beams and send in a couple of titans with the repair and hyperspace hindrance aura. Said titans have X3 lvl II afterburners.

5. You can build these ships early game- usually around tech level 2 or 3 and they never really become obsolete as long us you upgrade them better versions of shields/armor etc.




Basically you blat around the map with a cruizerg fleet maybe with Titan support destroying everything.
