That depends on how the game will be. Stellaris could have used a delay until September to be honest.

Well the only regret that I have is that I cannot re-enact the D Day moments on the day it happened. I was ready to start the preparations for the assault at midnight and by dawn launch the invasion. It kind of lost it's charm that I have to do it on the next day, but so be it.

I got Stellaris around 1pm Central Standard Time here in the states when it released. So.....I'll be off that day and will have to wait until 3 or so to play because of download and install. Oh well, gives me more time to plan my conquests!

I am wondering WHY did they dislike basically confirming the time zone release at 18:00 CET implicitly... Oh well no matter!

Furthermore since I live in Central Time Zone in USA. Release time will be midnight for me which is sad because there is no pre-load (smaller number of people buying and what not). Which means all I can do is start the download and go to bed and come back fresh.

Which begs the question how big is the download size? I know the spec on steam page say 2 GB installation but compression may drastic lower that to a more reasonable size for downloading.

18:00 CET is 11:00 AM in US central time, not midnight.

In the end my first day of HoI 4 will be Sunday, almost a week after, if nothing else is announced. it's harder to take a day off during the week.

I was wondering the same thing. In entirely unrelated news, I came across this interesting factoid the other day.

The game will release in the evening (CEST). We aim at the same procedure that we did with Stellaris.

May I please request you re-think the release strategy and go for GMT+12 instead.

The reason is that it would suit me better.
