I am fully aware that this is one of the worst trolling attempts I have ever hadthe misfortune to read. Still I take the time to reassure our fans that we are not taking DLCs in a particular direction.
To think I once respected The Patrician for all his amusing posts on the OT forum - but to actually bring this up as a satirical discussion here on the Victoria 2 forums is a step too far!
If any of paradox "core games" such as CK,Vicky,HOI, EU3. would start using micro transactions regarding gameplay, I cannot guarantee I would purchase the games anymore.
I understand that buisniess need revenue, but I am also convinced that many games today that use the micro transactions buisness model already have been profitable. And the content offered in many cases was produced during the main development of these games.
It makes me glad to hear that Paradox will try to avoid this methodolgy if possible.
