MGO has just published an interview with Henrik Fåhraeus about HoI. I thought I would let you guys know first as I picked your brains/posts for some of the questions

Yes very good interview incredible how much detailed you managed to lure out of Henrik
The only problem I have with an interview like that is that I really really want that game now, and thus time is now moving even slower (hey gawd lay off that 1minute as 1 hour button

this may sound silly but if you guys got the box made and the game is planed released within a few months you should put the boxes out for pre-order asap. it would be cool to swing by best buy and pre-order it and get the box it looks pretty nice.

I should say a large thank you to you guys as I picked through the forum pretty thouroghly looking for questions that you wanted answers to and that I thought sounded as though people would like to know the answers to.

If you want to know the right questions to ask, you have to know whats already been given out, forums as active as this one are a BIG help in that direction

I thought it would last until 1948? And another thing... will it be made 'open ended', like Civ3? I mean, you can continue without scoring any points after 1948... It might get pretty weird, but seeing all the techs in use might be fun...

The game lasts until 1948.

From this interview:

Henrik Fåhraeus: The scenarios are all set in the overall period of Jan 1 1936 - Dec 31 1947. The game speed is of course adjustable and "pausable", just like in EU.



Johan has also said it, I believe its in the information thread.


Edit - MGO should probably updated their features to reflect the more accurate closing date to the game.

Indeed, I'd enjoy the possibility to continue just for the sake of building the latest stuff. Über-tank, über-plane etc. (atleast by WWII standards).

Sometimes, accuracy has to give in to political correctness.
