In 1.06 was announced/promised "-Mexican provinces now have a lot lower populations after the Spanish conquests." I have not seen that effect and there is no event for that. I think there should be one.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Later scenarios (1617 etc) give lower population for Mexcio etc. However, no new events will be added as no new text can be added.
There could (for instance) be AI-only events triggered by the Quest for the New World event.
They could be given a few scripted standard plagues or a customised event with the plague text.
