Hi guys,

Have been trying to make my Metro work for the past day but I can't seem to draw a new line?
Am I missing something?
I already built the Metro Stations and Tunnels but it's not allowing me to draw a new line
Even tried a simple 1-to-1 connection between 2 Metros.. still cannot, can someone advise how?

Thanks!

I must be doing something completely wrong.
I have already watched a lot of YouTube videos trying to figure it out but still can't make it work.

I have placed the Metro Stations and tunnels already but when I start drawing the Metro line, I click at the station's end point and then extend it to the other connecting station's end point but no line comes out. There's just this icon w/ red slash across it like saying I can't do that or something :(

Thanks for the welcome by the way!

Centre point, where the station is, not the end of the line ... is where you must click to add a new station or start a line

Hello,

there's no need to drag the line (I think I understood from your message that you're dragging the line, if not, apologies). Mouse hover on the station you want to start your line from and "create a new line" will appear, then click on the next station ("add stop" will appear), then go back to where you started and you should have "complete line". Try with 2 stations to see if it works.

Hello all! I have quite the same problem, but little bit different: I can put stations and i built 3 stations, but i still have the "draw lines Tool" disabled. It's like i didn't build stations, because when overing on the draw lines tool, it says, construct one station (0/1). What is happening?

Vanilla assets, and no mods, right? You're past the population Milestone requirements for metro? You have to build a station before building tracks. Then you can add stops/lines. So (1) Build a station or two. (2) Connect them with tunnel. (3) use the "stops" tool to create routes.

May I ask, have you even used metros before? I have and, by the title, this sounds like my issue. I recently got ND DLC and had to remove network extensions due to inable to see the disaster spawn menu. I ended up getting the DLC to work! However, I went to make a metro line at the end of the day (24 hour day irl) and I noticed that it wouldn't select the station. Like, you know how to hover over the station and a dot appears with the "Add stop" text? Yea, didn't get that. I tried with trains, (Metro Overhaul Mod) and the trains worked, but the metro seems to have broken. I'm wondering if someone has encountered this problem. It could be MOM, but you see, I've had that for quite some time and it's always worked. So...
