So I'm stumped, I don't know if this is a bug or if I am just being stupid. I'll describe my problem here and see if anybody can help me.
I started a game in Antioch as the Messalian heresy and enabled shattered world. After I had become king my Autocephalous Patriarch had become the head of the Euchite Patriarchy, thats all good.
Skip ahead a few years and I finally conquer Jerusalem, fabricate treason on the bishop of Jerusalem and replace him with a Messalian faithful with the intent of him creating the Patriarchy of Jerusalem, however, he doesn't.
Finding the title, I notice that it does not exist and I can't create it (allow = {always = no}) and no matter how much money I throw at the bishop he wont create it either. If I use console commands to give him it, it disappears after ten days.
I checked the list of features for CK2+, and it states: "The episcopal sees (Rome, Constantinople, Jerusalem, Antioch, Alexandria) have ducal patriarchate titles which are gained when a Catholic or autocephaly religion (like Orthodox) gains the temple barony. For autocephaly religions, it's this title which constitutes the actual pentarchy...and some religions (like Miaphysites or Nestorians) only gain the Petrine sees and not Rome or Jerusalem."
However, even if I cheat to obtain a barony of the Petrine sees and give it to someone of my faith, nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong? Any help at all would be appreciated.
