Message Settings

With all the new patches and betas coming out, my message settings reset to default everytime I install a new one. Is therea file where the message settings are contained that I can just copy and paste to preserve them? Thanks in advance for the help.

When you have your settings the way you want them, copy config.eu someplace (it is in the EU2 root folder). Everytime you install a new version, copy your config.eu back to the EU2 root folder.

Change Defaults

How about including an option in the EU2settings control to set all pop-ups as off or as notifiers? Maybe a third option that could turn the pop-ups off just for the frequent events, like arriving in a province.

It would be nice if you would get 1 window when a new war starts stating who is immediately declaring war to who. Now you get like 10 windows because of all partners joinign or not. I close all of them, pauze and read the message log.

By the way. Does anyone know if it possible to get windows when a mission is completed as it was in EUI (if I'm remembering correctly). I can't find out how and if you don't read the log, the computer picks for you.

You should be able to go to the "Menu", "Options", and then "Message Settings" and in the message settings box, I remember there being a few about missions. You should be able to change how they appear there.
