I wanted to try a game as Wales but found I could only see my 1 province and nothing else
I am not sure if this has been covered by the betas yet
please help

For the title of the thread I suppose you are referring to the Mongol Empire Scenario. So, the answer is yes: in the last patch Wales has knowledge of all the needed provinces.
