And my problem was that the screen just gets blank after showing the "Verifying your credit card" page. And throws an error box without text, too.

. Just a bit frustrated i cant order the game ive been waiting for since God's birth (feels like it dammit!) because i dont want to buy it through charging over the net.

Darn... There must be something wrong with ordering system. It just throws the white screen after verification, with a javascript error message. Shouldn't it ask some kind of password? (Verified by Visa requires that). Or is ordering done through VbV? Comments?
It seems that I'll have to do that too (Pay by bill.) Well, let's hope that Paradox has earned some serious money from e-butik sales and can now afford a new computer to Fredrik :rofl:

Haven't the foggiest idea how close you guys are to sending the game off to publishers and shipping the pre-orders, but are things still on track to have the PayPal payment option up before those pre-orders ship? I don't want to wind up lucking out, but I'm very hesitant to bite the bullet and use a credit card if PayPal will be an option before it's too late.

release date 23rd April Paradox took payment for CK from my account on 8th March ?

I tried to preorder CK, but after introducing all neccesary fields, the web says I am not using a 3D protected card and will be redirected to a traditional payment site or something like that. The point is that only a white screen appears.
No confirmation mail about this order,so definitively out.

As far as I've understood that's the entire point with pre-ordering. You give the company some early money to ensure continued full speed work on the game.
- Not that this is to imply in anyway that Paradox is having economic problems. Simply that a preorder is a support to the company in more ways than just a show of interest.

I see preordering more as a way for the seller to know beforehand that they will get money when the product is released.
I don't like that paradox already have charged my visa, but I can live with it because I know that CK will be a great game

I found that in my case it made a difference which browser I was using. It didn't work with Mozilla or Mozilla Firefox, but worked with Internet Explorer. All the Paradox pages work just fine with Mozilla (my favorite browser), but the Verified by Visa page apparently was only designed with Internet Explorer in mind.
For the record, when it works, I get a black page with the summary of what I just ordered, with a confirmation email arriving in seconds.
