Hey guys !
I've just gone through this nasty bug (? maybe it's not but i still find it strange though) :
I was king of sardinia and corsica, and i decided to make the duchy of corsica a merchant republic (to have more taxes and ships early)
Problem was that when i granted the duchy to my newly appointed mayor, my eldest son was disqualified from inheritance (primogeniture, he had no landed title, i did not make him mayor of the new republic). If that's how it's supposed to be ... ok, but i find it strange that giving a title to someone with no link to my inheritance would disqualify my eldest son.
Another interesting fact is that i tried to revoque the newly created merchant republic, but revocation was not possible anymore. The game just said 'this title is not revocable'.
If someone could detail the exact mechanics that makes this possible ?
I tend to often create merchant republics for extra money and i dont want this situation happening again
Thanks in advance.
