Yes, it's unusual to go full distance but trains can certainly be pushed rather than pulled. Might have been better to model a loco at each end though just for show.

I did notice this when I was building but at the same time being a railway signaller myself I did not consider it overly strange.

[off-topic] It is quite often the case that a train with 'a loco each end' is actually a push-pull loco at one end and a slave driving cab at the other [/off-topic]

I agree that a loco each end would make things more realistic or the alternative is to do what Transport Tycoon did and simply switch the graphic when a train changed direction.

My guess is they probably use the same logic that the Passenger trains use but because they have graphic of a train at each end, it doesn't look odd. They could just add a locomotive at each end, or just have the engine appear at the other end like some transport games do.

They should put a control car at the other end, rather than a locomotive.
