It's 1155ish, and after starting in 1066 with the County of Karkheti (now Duke of Iceland  ) there have been no mercenary companies for about 30 years. The only swords for hire are the Templars and the Hospitallers - and on another slightly perturbing note, the Templars hold their own barony inside an Islamic County in the Holy Land. Is the phasing out of mercenaries intentional? And if it is, may I politely ask why? There's no real historical foundation for it AFAIK.
