Well, it has been described as a 'beer and pretzel game' meaning it is simple, easy to learn and you are quick to leave it for more fulfilling endeavours (like drinking beer and eating pretzels)

But if you can get it on the cheap it might give you an hour or two of fun, and a few more such later on if you have more spare time than you know what to do with.

It is more of a 'stepping stone' or 'entry-level' game though - not necessarily much fun for the seasoned Paradox gamer, who is usually into deep immersion and long campaigns, while TT might possibly be described more as TW: without the tactical level.

It also has the same problem as TW: the player with the biggest navy has total control of the seas. Once one nation decides to eradicate the weaker fleets, it will never be possible to wrest naval superemacy away from them. This normally menas that England is shafted within a year since it can't get any reinforcements to the continent.

In Two throwns, you can play as i believe 7 different nations. There is one playable Kingdom in spain,a few in france, and britain.in the war of the roses scenario you can be red rose people or white rose people...I tend to like this game alout, but thats cus im not good at victoria and hearts of iron.
