A very important thing is that should be added in the full version some icon like the flag in europa universalis to see better your army in the map when you zoom out, is very difficult follow a war without this.
I saw many wars during my playthrough, including an epic Prussia-Austria bash, a UK-China stalemate, French and Spanish conquests in North Africa, the UK conquest of Punjab, the Colombian invasion of Brazil....
one thing i miss from vicky1 was when you clicked on a province, it would highlight the entire state first, and one more click would highlight the province. This made it easier to see the state's pop and factories, among other things.

Me too.
I had the exact same clergy problem... I figured, that maybe, I was funding other things too much so I set bureaucrats, soldiers to 35%. Still decreased... rather rapidly. My only possible complaint: I watched my population pretty frequently, and I NEVER saw an increase in my clergy, and I spent almost the entire game funding my clergy at 100%. What worried me was that whenever I checked my national increase/decrease of clergy, I was loosing something like 100 clergymen a day. was my loss of clergy influenced by something other than how much I was funding, or is this something of a bug? (as a side note, my beaurocrats were funded around 70-80% all game, and they WERE increasing at a reasonable rate).

Haven't played the demo yet, but I am somewhat frightened by the senseless wars people seem to be reporting. May I ask how things are going for everyone in terms of wars?
I mean AI v. AI wars.
That slider works in concert with the tax sliders as well as being potentially influenced by National Focus. There are probably other influences as well, I just haven't pinned them down yet.![]()
