Newegg.com has it as well but its shipping 8/24/2010 and has the same price and free shipping. No advantage there... except that Newegg has always given me better service.

Too bad Amazon has a delayed release, I got my copy of HOI3 from them using priority shipping the morning the digital copy was released. I am in California so it was only a few hours before anyone else could play but damn such bragging rights. Too bad the game is gathering dust now, such a disappointment.

I think these games are only popular/advertised in Europe, I had never even heard about them until IGN did a thing last year.

I can't wait to play it but i have a bit of a problem.
I can't find any shop in the netherlands were they sell the game!
Only online stores and i cant buy it from there becaus i dont have the ability to get a working paypal and i dont have a credit card.
Could you guys please help me finding a shop in the netherlands were i can buy it? I am getting a bit desperate xD

I don't believe any retailer will sell the boxed version in the Netherlands.
(I haven't seen mention of any paradox games from any of the usual retailers, and browsed their websites quickly just to be sure.)
If a downloaded copy works for you you could use Steam with iDeal (if you don't have a credit card).
Experience teaches us it will be available on Steam, even though it isn't yet.
If you do have a credit card or if you want a boxed copy, your best bet might be amazon UK, which has very reasonable shipping rates to the Netherlands.

Finnish web store verkkokauppa.com is selling the boxed copy for 36,9e. Release is on 15th. Preorders open (since 10th I think, wasn't there before).

So i've been to the nearest 'Game' store today, and they said to me that Vic2 wont be stocked, there's not even a mention of it at all in their books.
But on the websites of the british and german 'Game' websites, Vic2 is all avaliable for preorders etc. Considering that i haven't gotten a credit card, it seems that i wont be able get the game? I live in Sweden, btw, and i would really to buy the boxed version.

I'd suggest asking a friend or family member who does have a credit card if they will buy it for you if you give them the money, it's what I used to do when I was younger.
go to cvs or any drug/grocery store and buy visa gift cards, which you can then use to buy online
Ask your parents/friends/wealthy relatives to buy it for you.
Also, you may look into prepaid credit cards. These are relatively safe compared to "regular" credit cards (because they only carry a set amount of money), and work just as well when buying online as the regular ones.
