Megalomaniacs Anonymous

Hello everybody, first of all forgive me for disturbing your meeting, it's not my usual way of being. I was actually looking for the Alcoholic Anonymous but this place seems interresting aswell. I'll only be an observer if you allow me. Actually, I'm a case that is also interresting. I'm a little mad, but for different reasons. I'm not a megalomaniac but I pretend I am. I mean seriously. I don't want to get rid of it, but I want to BECOME megalomaniac... euh .. I always choose little countries to make it more obvious ... euh ... I'll better take a seat, I've interrupted long enough... euh...

I stop, just inside the door. They're all looking at me!

They're all GLARING at me!

Well, no showing fear in front of savage animals - it only makes them attack sooner.

"Ah...hello, everyone, I'm The Director..."

They're STILL glaring at me.

"My problem's a little different - I'm in Twelve Steps Anonymous, because I'm addicted to twelve-step programs..."

"And I'm no threat, really. Just a poor harmless old man..."
"I'll just sit right here - back to the wall - and take notes.."
"Anything you do say can and will be used against ( Coughs ) TO ASSIST you, just wanted you all to know that"

( Studies the room, doesn't think much of the infrastructure )

Seizing advantage of the room's momentary distraction (Craig Ashley was channeling Rafar again), Varus innocently butted his chair two inches to the left (within striking distance of Sorceror) while simultaneously pivoting clockwise (to open a supply line to the baclava).

Varus dabbed one eye with a cocktail napkin. "I admit it publicly, " he sniffed. "I, too, admit that I have a problem."
