...and I'm personally glad it was released before Christmas.
I had lots of leisure time to spend around Christmas and it was extremely pleasant to discover what felt like a new game, or a sequel to a game I already adore. I have already gotten far more than 20$ worth of entertainment from it.
I'm not a heavy gamer and I don't tend to spend much time on online forums. I suspect there are many others like me who play Paradox games as a little side hobby and who are basically pleased with the release.
As people rightly point out, there are many things to iron out moving forwards, but as they say, you don't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. I think the Stellaris team should be proud of their work and of continuing to iterate so boldly on a game that was released nearly 3 years ago. Keep up it!
