Thanks for developing the HOI series and the great job you have done. I'm sure HOI3 will become a very good game once it has been polished. The game's complexity is unmatched with any other strategy game that I've played, and I've played a lot since I got my first Commodore back in the 1980s.

we do listen to metal all day, but we mostly use earphones to not disturb eachother (might be listening to different songs ya know). and its more like a dungeon in winter

Anyway, great video. i always love to see the developers behind the games. I saw similar videos of Lionhead Studios and Interplay(makers of Black & White and Fallout series under the great leadership of Peter Molyneux).
Am I the only one who expected a dungeon with swedish metal music playing so loud you can hardly hear your thoughts?
We only use those for pleasure, not for work....

But the Studio is not on the ground it is above the clouds where they can watch our game needs and fulfil them.
To get there you need to do at least 10 good games
No luck there. When I was to Stockholm in 2007, I couldn't even find the "Technology Centre". I was imagining a tall glass skyscraper with a huge rotating Paradox-Logo at the top, illuminated by giant spotlights and circled by multiple helicopters, but no luck...Me and some friends would like to visit Stockholm. Maybe we can have a tour through PI Studios
PS: Johan, what happened to that great looking haircut (bald with beard) you had a few years back? I always thought that much better looking...
Very impressive! All these few people are patching HOI3, are coding a new Add-On for EU3 and the new game Victoria 2. As someone wrote on youtube: "The community manager sitting 3 meters away from the chef. That says alot about paradox!"

HQs must be kept in secret. What if EA finds it? They would transform the PI games to Hearts of Hockey and Soccer Universalis...So don't try to search for the HQ, or they will have to move it...
While I was watching this video, I realised how incredible to think that so few can create a game so huge.

I thought the office looked light and airy. Far less dungeon-like than I would have imagined. I thought programmers were chained to their desks with intravenous Mountain Dew feeds to keep them working well into the night (not that they know what time of day it is in their windowless, darkened cubicles.)
