They did replace the mongol children with something awful though. But yeah, I wouldn't call that a fix.
Being a Turk, i can promise you no one I know has skin as dark as the dlcs portrays people. Maybe someone from like Iraq or Egypt has that dark of skin, but for the most part, people in Turkey look like Europeans just with more black hair... For the most part. Some look more Asiatic than others, and some actually look northern european.
Yep. I think modern Turks could use the Med pack if the Italians and Greeks do. And the Turks already settled in Anatolia in the late CK2 era. Not sure about the Seljuks who have only recently taken Persia, though.
The Seljuks would probably be more central Asian.
Modern Turks are descended from a lot of different sources, mostly Anatolians with some Celts, Greeks, Romans, and Turkic peoples.

That was the point I tried to make. Not to mention the Armenians, Balkan and Assyriac peoples. Probably there is some Persian element in the Turkish blood, too.
Personally I feel like the faces look more like how Latin Americans look, and not how people from say Italy or Greece would look.
Yeah, the Mediterranean faces are unrealistically dark. Matilda of Tuscany’s mother, for example, was German.
It is amusing to see all this fuss while we only have pre-alpha screenshots. Seriously, we have no idea how the final faces will look like. How can you seriosuly argue about skin tone while the portraits we can see look like those people have serious genetic or facial reconstruction issues?
Luckily, even though I would have liked more diversity, I'm quite happy with the current caucasian faces for greeks, italians and iberians, and the arabic ones for andalusians and north africans. If the DLC ends up as horrible as we can see now, I'll just miss the specific crowns and clothes.

You can easily mod it so that you get all the DLC crowns but keep vanilla faces.
Except if you don't buy it, then you have no right to complain.Best way to have it fixed is to not buy it and also to complain!

Really? I thought that if you paid for something you knew would be bad, you have no right to complain. It’s not as if anybody on the Internet worries about whether they should complain.
But seriously, if you’re familiar with a product and can give a cogent reason why you didn’t buy it, it’s reasonable to state that.
They were too light and now they are most definitely too dark. We've now had the first and second bowls of porridge it's time for them to deliver the 3rd.

Well many Brazilians and most Argentinians and Uruguayans are vastly of Italian descent so its not necessarily a problem is it?

Yes and no. If you go to say Peru or Chile, most everyone except for the richest people there will have dark skin. Same with Bolivia. In fact, the way the faces look for this dlc look more like how the Aztecs look in the game...
Then be more specific. Latin America stretches from Baja California to Patagonia. Its massive. There are every type of racial mixture/purity you can imagine and themsome. If you are mad because they look mestizo then say it. Don't hide behind the latin american thing because there are more white people in Latin America than in Italy.
